And after so much work, a nap is in order.

My cat Louisa once peed on a contract, and every writer I knew wanted to borrow her!

That is one crazy kitty!

My low-level tenth-graders are reading d&g and are really getting into it now. The body shopping is their favorite part so far. They are mostly boys!

Hi to jmaster1324 and to Linda Jacobs-

I'm a little nervous about what the editor will think when I send her the manuscript back. My guess is she doesn't get that many with tooth marks.

I'm glad to hear your tenth graders are enjoying d&g, Linda Jacobs. I like the body shopping too. Then again, I like pretty much any kind of shopping!

LOL! Scooter rules! I wish I'd had Scooter on hand for my last set of revisions....

Looks like you'll deliver the revision on time, even with toothmarks. : )

Hi Elaine Marie Alphin-

I hope the editor is tolerant of shredded manuscripts. It took me until last night to figure out if I kept that side of the cabinet door closed, Scooter wouldn't figure out how to climb in there for his raids of destruction.

Yes, I can outthink a three month old kitten!

I finished (I think, I hope) the writing part of the revisions last night, and will spend today reading what I wrote and then shipping the manuscript off.

It's going to feel very weird not to have Miranda and Alex in my life again. Both the writing and the rewriting of this particular book have been emotionally quite intensive.

Scooter seems like a very "talented" cat!

Hi Sarah-

Scooter has many talents. He can rip manuscripts, eat twice his weight in a single sitting, purr loudly at 5 in the morning, and turn anything, including my arms and legs, into playthings.

I, on the other hand, can only write. And eat.

My word verification is "epals." Isn't that nice. You're all epals to me!
